1. Register and log in

Create an account with your email address and a password. This is what ties your application and every document you're asked to sign back to you specifically — nobody else can view or sign on your account.

2. Tell us about yourself

A short intake form: your details, employment, income, and dependants. You'll be asked to consent to this being processed for your debt review application — see our Privacy Policy for exactly how it's used and who it's shared with.

3. We capture your debts and expenses

Our team records every credit agreement you have and your monthly living expenses. If any of your creditors has already sent a letter of demand, a court summons, or told you they have judgment against you, tell us — it changes how that specific debt is handled. See Already got a summons? for why this matters.

4. Affordability assessment

We work out what you can realistically afford to repay each month, based on your income and expenses, and whether you're currently over-indebted under the National Credit Act.

5. Form 16 — your application

We prepare your formal application for debt review. A supervising advocate reviews it before it's sent to you. You'll then be emailed a secure link to review and sign it — either on-screen, or by printing, signing by hand, and uploading a scan.

6. Form 17.1 — the proposal to your credit providers

Once your application is signed, we prepare a proposal to restructure your instalments and send it to each of your credit providers, again only after advocate review.

7. Waiting for responses

We track each credit provider's response (accepted, rejected, or a counter-proposal) and keep you updated by email as your case progresses. If a proposal is rejected, we revise it and go through the review cycle again.

What we don't automate

Referral to the National Consumer Tribunal, a magistrate's court consent order, and ongoing Payment Distribution Agent coordination are handled by our team directly, outside this system, once your matter reaches that stage.
